Here are some of my go to shopping sites, Amazon Prime is worth every penny for an SCDer, but there are a couple other AWESOME food companies that really help me with SCD food. I try not to order these too often to stay on budget – but it’s a must for travel, holidays and birthdays.
Liberated Specialty Foods – Stacey is one of my mom-heros. Started this awesome bakery in Alabama for her daughter’s Celiac disease. Do NOT miss her Cheddar crackers. They come with us on every road trip or airplane ride. And Stacey, I can’t wait to give you a great big ‘thank-you’ hug!
Mikey’s Muffins – Another celiac story with Michael. Paleo & SCD English Muffins found at most Whole Foods. Original Flavor is SCD legal.
Squirrel & the Bee – An awesome grain free bakery in New Jersey that ships baked good to you. Chef & Owner Michelle turned her Ulcerative Colitis into Lemonade and we are glad she did! Alex loves their cookies & bagels (a great travel breakfast). Well done Michelle…another ‘thank-you’ hug goes out to you.
Caleb’s Cooking Company – a boy named Caleb (has Crohn’s) and his mom create frozen meals you can special order and ship to your door. Cue the choir of angels! Alex loves his chicken nuggets. Big, big kudos and hugs to Caleb & Cindy!
